We helped the engineering design team at Norconsult meet extensive BIM requirements on one of their model based hospital projects; Radiumhospitalet in Oslo. Together with Norconsult we developed a custom Revit addin, Dynamo graphs and held Dynamo trainings to upskill the team.

The extensive requirements for the project required a more refined and efficient way of managing model information. The addin made it possible to bulk set parameters in Revit, while at the same time giving the designer full control of the process.

The development has been executed over several iterations, where we started off by getting a clear picture of the underlying issue and Norconsult's suggestion for solution. By collaborating closely and continuously testing and development, the result has provided Norconsult with software that significantly reduces hours spent on model management, allowing the engineers to focus on design.
