Unleashing BIM Magic: Reope's Consultancy Adventures with Top Industry Players

Join us as we take you on an epic tour, exploring the fascinating stories behind our collaborations with top industry players.

Hey there, BIMsters! Ever wondered how we sprinkle our BIM magic across the AEC industry, turning mundane workflows into efficient, automated marvels? Join us as we take you on an epic tour, exploring the fascinating stories behind our collaborations with top industry players.

Night Running in Oslo

Let's kick off our journey at the heart of Oslo, Norway, where we teamed up with Team Urbis on an incredibly important mission - rebuilding the New Government Quarters after a devastating terrorist attack. Weaving our Reope sorcery, we automated BIM-based design processes, developed innovative tools like Night Runner, and worked our generative design magic on complex structures. Our collaboration with Team Urbis not only streamlined their design process but also helped reshape the very fabric of Oslo's urban landscape.

Tailor-made for success

Next stop: the Heatherwick Studio chapter. Here, we joined forces with their talented BIM and Geometry teams, crafting two tailor-made tools - Radar and Metrics - that revolutionized the way they managed their Revit data and Rhino geometry. Through our ongoing partnership, we're continually pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the AEC industry.

Hospitals of the future

Fast forward to our collaboration with Sykehusbygg, the owner of Norway's hospital buildings. Faced with the challenge of managing extensive Revit data, we swooped in to connect their central SQL database to Autodesk Revit, optimizing their data management process. But our work didn't stop there! We upskilled Sykehusbygg's team in Dynamo, Python, and C#, empowering them to harness the full potential of these powerful tools.

While on that topic, we have to give a shout-out to Norconsult, where we helped their engineering design team tackle extensive BIM requirements on the Radiumhospitalet project in Oslo. Together, we developed a custom Revit add-in and Dynamo graphs, as well as held Dynamo training sessions, ensuring their team could efficiently manage model information.

Oslo Works, enjoyed the full force of our BIM magic - from environmental analysis workflows and façade study scripts to BIM automation and masterplan design, as Reope's premium subscriber.

Dublin calling

From the fjords of Norway to the bustling streets of Dublin, we also shared our BIM wisdom with O'Mahony Pike Architects. Through a 2-month-long workshop, we upskilled their BIM team in Dynamo, Python, and C#, transforming them into true BIM maestros.

So, there you have it - a whirlwind tour of Reope's consultancy adventures in a nutshell! If you're ready to join our league of BIM superheroes and experience the Reope magic for yourself, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help you conquer your BIM challenges and make your AEC dreams come true!

Without Night Runner, we would be stuck with 'impossible' manual maintenance tasks and with models with severe deviations. It helps us automate the process of standardizing several Revit models in large projects, so the downstream processes for cost calculation and other deliveries stay consistent.
